Then when they were doing insolently what they had been prohibited, We told them: "You become the despised apes".
The transgressed people who belonged to the first category were transformed into despised apes. That means, their bodies were transformed into that of apes as moral teaching for the people of that period and succeeding generations. Today, the Arabic Quran reading Fujjar are reading these verses. But they are commanding the people with evils and are forbidding mankind from the Best Book. These transgressors are not considering Adhikr as the Guidance and Advice for the entire mankind as explained in verse 3: 138. Lord is not punishing the Fujjar like this because they will be killed by the other people belonging to the Messenger's community after the second coming of Jesus. Doomsday will only happen when the other people belonging to Messenger’s community also become transgressors and wrongdoers like the Fujjar as told in verse 46: 35.
